Mr. Cody Hogan

Cody Hogan, principal at BGJH, brings 19 years of education experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator to his role in the district.  Mr. Hogan holds a master’s degree in education leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.  He has two kids in DCISD and his wife, Coby Hogan, also works at BGJH as a teacher and coach.  He is committed to working collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community to create a learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.  Please feel free to reach out – the door is always open.

Ms. Stephanie Scott

Stephanie Scott, assistant principal for William Gravitt Junior High School at DCISD, brings 25 years of educational experience to our campus/district and community.  With content knowledge and teaching application including grades 2-8, Ms. Scott is committed to driving academic excellence and building and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders, collectively. As a former student of DCISD and a parent of a DCISD graduate, community involvement and positive core values such as honesty, integrity, and passion for learning and teaching, are of the utmost importance regarding her professional and personal goals.  She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and has a background in developing microsocieties within districts to build global thinking, gifted and talented instruction, instructional coaching, and management/leadership. Fostering a love for learning, providing a safe environment, and supporting social/emotional growth for all students is always her targeted priority.
